Sunday football food

Happy to have football on Sunday's again! Matt invited some people over and cooked up some delicious pulled pork, wings, bacon wrapped halibut, and jalapeño poppers. Matt received a jalapeño pepper rack from his brother and sister-in-law for his birthday. Worked nicely. The peppers were super hot though. I could only take one bite! Everything was super yummy!!

Yay!! I'm glad you guys were able to use it! I thought it was a pretty fun gadget :) Next time we come to visit, i'm going to demand grilled jalapeño peppers :)

About Us...

After we were married in July of 2004, we moved to Kotzebue, Alaska where Lindsay got a job teaching third grade. Soon after getting up there, Matt got a job with Wells Fargo. Two years into living there, Matt changed careers to be a police officer.

We decided we liked Alaska, but did not like the village we lived in. We wanted to be in civilization with roads, cars, shopping, and one less airplane ride home to Montana. So in the summer of 2008 we moved to Wasilla (outside Anchorage). Lindsay got a job teaching second grade and Matt eventually got a job back at Wells Fargo.

We had a house built in a perfect place between Wasilla and Palmer. It is on an acre of land and we love it!! We have put in a lawn in the front and back, and a deck on the back... so far.
